A new pre-release version has been made available for public download v1.5.3f23 

This beta release fixes the problem introduced by changes to the way Apple connects to camera hardware internally, that prevented iSight camera live video feeds on Mac retina laptops.
It is also a very nice teaser update for the upcoming full version 2.0 release on July 31st...

The previous offical beta pre-release v.1.3.10f6 has now been upgraded to the current Stable Release, meaning that anyone running version 1.24 should now upgrade to version 1.3.10f6

Mark Coniglio has today posted an announcement on the online Isadora forum with news about the upcoming release of version 2.0 of Isadora.
This new version will require an upgrade fee for current users.
Detailed information will accompany the release on July 31st. Major new features are part of the package. There has been much excitement about the upcoming release, and now the date is set! Mark your calendars.
